Corfu is the most well known of the Ionian Sea and among the first islands that opened to tourism. The first university of modern Greece was founded here in 1824 and the island was the homeplace of many important poets, musicians, and politicians. Visit Achillion Palace, the former retreat of princess Sissi of Austria, Mon Repos palace, where Phillip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II was born. The Old Fortress also can’t be missed. Visiting Corfu truly is an unmatched cultural experience. Explore Corfu town for narrow cobblestone streets in Kandounia, charming squares and mansions, and then venture out for idyllic seaside villages and beautiful beaches.

Chances are, you’ve seen Zakynthos Island before from the famous photo of the shipwreck on the beach. Only accessible by boat, Navagio beach has crystal clear turquoise waters, white sand and is backed by towering cliffs. The photos don’t do it justice. It is also rich with culture and impressive Venetian architecture. Don’t miss the Castle of Zakynthos.

All itineraries are flexible, and subject to weather conditions and mooring availability. Let us know if you have any specific requests!

People tend to want to stay some places a bit more than others and our captains are happy to adjust accordingly. People also have different needs/expectations for eating aboard vs. going out every day in Tavernas, etc. This can affect the route, as some of the more remote destinations can be far from restaurants, but are worth visiting (secret beaches, etc.)
